This small sample of images are from a series of photographs I took on a trip to Mexico in 2001. On my travels I was particularly struck by the pervasiveness of hand painted signage. As a designer you can't help but admire the visual richness and personality of these works and reflect on what we might have lost in our transition to a digitally rendered, style guide controlled visual landscape.
